Hinter den Kulissen: So entstehen unsere Haarklammern
Have you ever wondered how hair claws are actually made? Most of the time, you just hold them in your hand, clip them into your hair, and don’t really think about how much love for detail and craftsmanship goes into such a small everyday companion. For us, every single hair claw is more than just a practical accessory – it’s the result of a carefully thought-out process.Come along on a little journey behind the scenes of our production!
Step 1 - Laser Shaping
In the first step, the raw material is brought into the desired, ergonomic shape. This is where we stand out from conventional hair claws. Instead of cheap plastic, we rely on high-quality, durable raw materials: cellulose acetate. A computer-controlled laser cuts the flat contours and individual parts of the hair claw with extreme precision out of the sheet. The advantage: no rough edges and maximum attention to detail.
Step 2 - Protective Shield
Time for some treatment: The shaped parts are polished perfectly smooth and given a special protective layer. This seals the surface and protects your piece from scratches, hairspray, and other damage.
Step 3 - The Final Cure
Off to the deep-drying phase: The protective layer cures completely under controlled conditions. This doesn't just make the finish scratch-resistant; it also gives the claw its maximum stability and that final premium glow.
Step 4 - Hand Assembly
Where craftsmanship meets high performance: The individual parts are assembled piece by piece by our experts by hand. Inserting the spring precisely into the joint requires absolute instinct and touch to ensure the tension is perfectly balanced. The result? An extremely durable clip that won't wear out or give in.
Step 5 - Quality Check
Every finished piece goes through our strict quality control. Our experts inspect each claw individually for maximum stability, the exact spring tension of the clip, and a flawless coating. Only when everything is absolutely perfect is the claw polished to a high gloss and thoroughly cleaned.
Step 6 - The Drop
Good things take time: From laser cutting to the finished piece, it usually takes 4 to 8 weeks of pure focus. As soon as the shipment arrives at our warehouse, we get the drop ready: shooting content, writing descriptions, and launching it in the shop. The process is complete, and the product is finally live.
